A couple of folks have asked how the Winter Guitar was coming along so here are some photos.

After just 2 guitars I got bored with the conventional end graft so I went with this curve..

Man that's a beauty! The endgraft is cool! The cutaway is very elegant and well done...and the rosette is understated and elegant as well. Hurry up and finish that thing so we can see it!

Dang!!! Dang!!! double dang that is nice!
Ya know, back in my quad racing days when some one would sign up and enter in to the amateur class and then proceed clean everyone's clock we'd call'em a sandbagger

Me thinks ive seen this act before!

All kidding aside Bill, your guitars are wonderful in every aspect!

It is Curly African Mahogany back & sides and cedar top..from Steve at Colonial Tonewoods. He has gorgeous woods!
The binding and end graft are Cocobolo.

Bill,

I know that i can't tell you what you are but can sure think about it and i sure think you're one of them!!!!

Either you have a well organized shop or you're a very patient man to perform such beautiful craftmanship at your second and third guitars which, to my eyes are just to die for! You are an inspiration for the beginner that i am! Man am i jealous or What!

be-u-t-ful..... Look like an OM or GC body size but a thick (deep) puppy at the upper bout neck joint or is it just the photo perspective?MichaelP38727.7206134259

You are absolutely correct.
The dimensions are:
Lower bout - 16"
Waist - 9.5"
Upper bout - 12"
Length 41"
However I wanted a little more interior volume but not a dread or full jumbo so the depth at the neck block is 4" and at the end block is 5"
So far I like the look and fell...we'll have to see about the tone..

Very nice Bill. Can't wait to see the inlay. Will it have snowflakes and such as a "winter guitar"?

It will have some snow flakes but not in a way that you would normally expect to see in a guitar:)

When I first saw the end graft it reminded me of a thong bikini.

Ron (DIRTY Old Man)

Hope I didn't offend any ladies on the forum, I should have said thong underwear and it would have been more PC.
